MOVEOhio is a diverse state-wide coalition of advocates who represent the interests of everyday transportation users. Our vision is a better funded multi-modal transportation network in Ohio that prioritizes a complete network of affordable and accessible transportation options, including public transit, passenger and freight rail, and walkable, bikeable streets.
OUR PLATFORM
INCREASED FUNDING
We support an increase in transit and rail funding in the state transportation budget to $150 million, and the establishment of a multi-modal development fund within the ODOT budget.
ECONOMIC RECOVERY
Transit connects workers to jobs and without these investments economic development in all areas of the state will suffer. Our economy, schools, health and social structures depend on transit.
DEDICATED FUNDING
Transit funding in Ohio is currently unstable therefore we support a state level dedicated funding source such as state bonds or a tax revenue-based source.
